Makongi Farm cares about the environment for future generations. To this end Makongi has put aside several hundred acres along river lines to natural forest.
The farm also has a tree nursery on site from which over 3000 Eucalyptus and Indigenous trees are planted annually. At present the farm has over 150 acres under Eucalyptus plantation and several hundred more under natural forest.
